Just mastered on Gorath, I'm Master Pistoleer, and 0040 Bounty Hunter. I have several questions for those who have been one for a while.

If I were you, id get the smuggler branch.

1.) How well can you kill Mokk/Janta, what are your strategies.

Easy, just lastditch.

2.) Do you go for health or mind when dueling.

Depends, if someone has no mind buffs and/or helmet, hit for mind. If its about the same, and they are all armored up, then i normally use this: /lowblow, /lastditch (or mind shot) a few times, then panic shot, then finish with lastditch/mindshot.

3.) Damage of your geo and how much eyeshot/lastditch do in PvP with that pistol. How much did you pay for it?

My geos about normal, 370 max, hit for around 400-600 in PvP. I payed 300k. I dont have a great geo as i normally use one of my DE-10s. (Worth it)

4.) Strategies versus melee who can not be pistol whiped.

Panicshot/lastditch or eyeshot. Lots of running.

5.) Strategies versus Riflemen.

Rifleman are about as easy as it gets, stun armor, shield genorator, thats 37%+45%, 82% stun. Synthasrake (not sure about spelling) helps alot. its 40% dmg reduction for 28 attacks (on corbantis)

6.) Is torso shot worth it? How often do you find yourself using it?

Hmmm, depends. I use it with bleedshot/healthshot vs. those defense stackers. If someones down to 100-500 health ill use it.

7.) Novice medic a necessity?

My current template doesnt allow it, I cant really say on this one. Im sure it would help alot though.

Any help would be appreciated, I'm normally taking friendly duels to get the hang of it myself but I would like some "vet input" from the more seasoned pistoleers.

I'm assuming you mean help with PvP? As an imperial,get buffed armored (a must)and go hang out in anchorhead (or mos brakas, a rebel city on corbantis) to get my fix for PvP. lowblow/panic shot followed by eyeshot/lastditch is the way to go. Somtimes a DOT vs. Defense stackers as i said.

PS, yes, i know. i havent made a referance to any pistoleer specails exepet healthshot for bleeds. The sad thruth is, pistoleer alone really doesnt hold in combat.

Well if you dont want the smuggler line, Fan shot while kiting the group works very well.

Depends on the buffs. If they have dancer/music buffs, and brandy, ill stick to health. (torso/bleed 1+2)

max without powerup is 299, goes to around 400 with powerup, hits for about 200-300 with eyeshot in PvP

Torso shot, and kite.

5.) Strategies versus Riflemen.

Rifleman have defensive weaknesses. Posture down specials, and pistol whips work well. Torso shot, and stopping shot.

6.) Is torso shot worth it? How often do you find yourself using it?

Torso shot is an amazing special. Fire DoTs are the best kind of dot. and Armor piercing doesnt effect it. Use it in every battle.

7.) Novice medic a necessity?

I dont have it, but there are many times i wish i did in PvP
