pistol melee defense1 works while kneeling, i used to stand up when things rushed and actually got up to me before they were killed. I was playing last night, i was kneeling and saw my target get knocked down, checked the combat chat and i had accidentally hit pmd1! how cool is that???

It seems to me i dodge better while kneeling or prone anyway, or the animation works better with kneeling or prone anyway!!

The animation only works when your standing still, so that may be why it seems like you dodge more when your kneeling or prone. If you're running around you'll still dodge, but it skips the animation so you don't stop in mid-stride and let them catch up.

I think I dodged from being KD/Dizzied when I was tango'ing with some stormies in the dantooine imperial outpost. I'd snap right up, take a step like I was dodging, then immidiately (no animation) get back down on my back again. T'was pretty embarassing to be recieve that kind of treatment from nothing but a bunch of stormies.

('course, the guy who declared to be opportunistic and beat me up while I was down made it all worth it. He ate eyeshot followed by a deathblow. And then I killed the remaining stormies. That was an ego boost)
