Thread: Pistol XP per buff
try this..
Im a rebel...and lets say that I had two imprial bases placed at a certain distance from each other. Now say i was able to run back and forth between these two bases farming xp at each end.As a pistoleer using a moderate damage geo, and if im lucky, the BH0040 speed cap...
50(conservative) STs x 3500xp each = 175k pistol xp/17.5k combat xpfor about 10 minutes work
175k x 18(number of runs perbuff) = 3.15m pistol xp/315k combat xpper buff.
Any failure in this theory?
How about the fact that you are going to be gettinga TEF and then get attacked by someone. Also you will have to use composite for them instead of ubese(nice andcheap forgrinding). Looks like it is a good plan though.

TEF is of no concern to me however you are correct in saying that compo would be required over ubese. I can get 67base compo on my server for under 300k so this is also not really a concern.
buffs are generally around 3h 20-40m (I may have my doc exp with lowering the buff and bumping the time a bit)...I purposely calculated my numbers using 3h (18 x 10m sessions) to leave room for travel.
the village is just over 5k meters from the science outpost, assuming you dont get stuck on any trees, this trip can be made in just over 5m
I havent attempted this yet, but there should be at least enough time to turn in the xp twice, maybe 3 times...depending on shuttle waits etc.
of course, building the bases on dath would be ideal =(

Also, although I don't know what rules govern the appearance of an AT-ST, but it seems to me that after clearing out bases a couple times, I usually run into an AT-ST sitting in front of the base....that might end up slowing down your ST killing time.

NOt if you take them 500-1000m off...in fact they will just stand there while the STs respawn all aone.
