Thread: Curious about template change with pistols

Hey all 
I hope it's alright if I'm doing this, if not, my apologies. I made a post though in the BH forums recently about changing my template around but didn't get much of a reply. Thinking I should have posted it here to start with though since I think more would know since it's more about pistols than bh itself. Anyhoo, just going to link to the post so I'm not double posting the same thread. If anyone could help me that'd be great, really looking for some guidance right now

Its gunna hurt you in PvP, but imo, make you stronger in PvE.
Friegn Death + Torso Shot means you can pretty much solo any MOB in the game given enough time 
Low Blow is nice, and so is panic shot, but i dont know if they are worth giving up your old template for.

Ty, that's the kind of help I have been looking for. I've only played the game about a month so don't quite have all the experience I need for well informed decisions on templates, hehe, but I'd hate wasting my time working up unarmed (ugh) and most pistol exp just to find out I made a huge mistake. Ty!

A lot of people told me dodge didn't help in pvp much anyways, especially against jedi. Guess that's why I figured it was okay to drop. Does it make a big difference? Will hate to have gotten bad info after having just dropped that line, hehe

Humm...I fair pretty well in PVP as a Master Pistoleer, BH 0040, Smuggler 0040. You might want the last dirty fighting block as it gives you last ditch attack..most powerful pistol attack in game (IMO).
Of course, it is about tactics in PVP anyways. I've taken TKM's and other pistoleers so...it all depends. PVP rating is 1372. Not best but not worst either.

I think not going master pistoleer or at least 4043 pistoleer in your case is taking an already weak defensivly BH, and removing the dodge value which gives you some defensive benefit.
Of course, there are those that think the best defense is pure offense, so more power to ya
