Thread: Hey Whats up with multi target shot?
Hey guys Im happy to announce that I made Master Pistoleer today. ![]()
I had to go to work so havent gotten to try Multitarget shot yet. So is it totally lame or does it have a purpose? It seems to me that fanshot is the multitarget shot so what is multitarget shot?
haha are you serious? this is something we've been ticked off about forever. it's broke. disarm2 and multi both are broke.
when it does work correctly, multi would cycle through a group of targets. it would fire about the equivilant of a stopping shot at each target, one at a time, and subtracting the HAM cost from each one, one at a time as it fired. even when you could get it to work it still kinda was lame.
i used to be able to get it to work by firing disarm 2 first. disarm 2 would do an AOE knockdown. somehow that would make every target you hit with the KD be able to be targeted for the multi, so you'd do disarm 2 and then multi and it would work. since they broke disarm 2 i can't get multi to work at all. and it sucked anyways.

Here's my advice, since I was a Master before the Disarm2 nerf ... don't bother.
MultiTarget is really no better than hitting *tab* and attacking each creature separately. Just use LastDitch, BodyShot3, or FanShot.
I think one time I was using my 366 max damage FWG fightingfive Baz Nitches swarming on me at once, so I targeted one of them, fired a MTPS,and dealt out 29 points of damage to one of them.
That was the best result I have ever managed to get with Multi Target Pistol Shot.
OK So I stick with bleed, pancishot, fanshot kiting. ![]()
Well, I know Philosopher has our backs on the pistoleer side. I try to help outbut just keeping track of all the smuggler issues is a hand full.
