Stances and Techniques are both good trees for the reasons stated by RakeOdimo.

I think Marksmanship is actually a good tree. It's purely accuracy type mods, namingly Pistol Accuracy, Pistol Aiming, and Pistol Accuracy While Moving. While this won't give you a new powerful attack or defense mods, it's a pretty decent skill tree. I would recommend getting just this one out of the four, but I jus wanted to point out that it's quite nice asone of the weakerof the four skill trees.

I think Grips has both ups and downs. The upside is that you get the Dodge skill-mod and Body Shot 3. The downside (IMO) is that getting Point Blank Single 2 (in Grips 1) and Point Blank Area 2 (in Grips 4) seems pretty pointless really. So the downside isn't so much a bad things, it's more of a "who cares?" things

If the only skills you have are BH (and its requirements) then you've got enough skill points leftover to get both Stances and Techniques. That'd be my recommendation, but I just thought I would point out what the other two trees were like as an FYI.

I am primarily a BH going for master. However, I'm also looking to add on some pistoleer skills to compliment BH pistols. Dont get me wrong, I have much respect for the pistoleer profession to all you purists out there. Really just wondering which tree of the 4 would be the best one to climb if you had to choose only one? Thanks.

My personal opinion would be the Stances line to get some Melee defense mods.

Or the Techniques line to get the stateful defense.

Being able to Spam Eyeshot, TorsoShot, Fan Shot and Stopping Shot would be powerful...

I had BH for a while but I got rid of it and went back to pistoleer augmented with Smuggler. I would recommend stances andabilities. Abilities uses combat points so you can use pistol to level up stances which gives you more shots. Unfortunately, Disarm1 and Double Tap are pretty much worthless. Stopping Shot and Fan Shot are nice to have. The Marksmanship one is good if you just want to increase you accuracy. The last one, tactics is useless right now. Body Shot 3 from what I hear is not as good as Body Shot 2. I am hesitant to waste points on it right now so I have left it alone. I may be wrong on it though. Maybe they have fixed it.

Grips, dodge is nice to have. You already get speed from BH, and yer specials are better so that leaves marksmanship, or grips. Unless you're usin the DX2 marksmanship dosn't help a lot. Dodge would be a major bonus to an otherwise "passive defenseless" avatar.
