Thread: pistol whup 1 vs. pistol whip 2
You could do like I did, and make a macro to use both pistolwhips at once.

Even then you'd want to use PW2 before PW1 and follow up with a couple of stopping shots or fan shots so you do better damage while the dude's knocked down. So you'd do Pistol Smash, Pistol Whip, stop shot, stop shot and then the mob gets up... Wasting a KD attack with pistol smash is prob a bad idea.

I think that "PistolWhip2" (PistolMeleeDefense2) is almost never worth using. It doesn't knock the opponent down, doesn't do anything else useful (like dizzy or stun), and just does random HAM damage ... plus it has the same high HAM cost that PistolWhip1 does.In almost every situation, you're better off with BodyShot.
I'm trying to get this fixed, by the way. It's annoying as hell.
heavy weapon & rifle users get a 2.5x damage mod when hit by melee attacks right? add that to the 1.5x dmg mod for the KD you just did with PMD1 & you have one nasty combo
perhaps it is just a specialty move for certian "situations"?
