Thread: Medic.....do I TRULY need it

Hiya all, I wanted to get more views on if a player truly needs novice medic to succeed in PvP and PvE. Im plannig to go back to BH Pistol + Master Gunfighter..
To any and all that have this template....does it hurt to not be able to heal yourself? Is it worth is for the extra mods in the 4th box along with torso shot?
Anyone else that is a combat player but has no medic....is it feasable?

depends a lot on your playing style . if you always pvp and pve with oraganized groups that have their designated healers you can get by without novice medic , if not novice medic is priceless .

/agree if you're a grouping type of guy then just make sure you have a medic in the group. I keep my medic skill because I never know when I'm going to need it. That and stim bs are pretty cheap because everyone makes them and everyone uses them.

You don't need novice medic. I don't have it, I solo fine without it. Just get buffs first and put on a good suit of armor. In PvP, you want to guard your mindpool... healing drains it.

I die 99.9% of the time from mind in PvP. So, just stay buffed and you wont really need medic. However...you won't be able to cure anything

i find it good if you do alot of group work
helping incapped people get back on their feet is cool, unless you do it and they are incapped again....and again....and they die

I like having medic and its alot better that when i was a tripple master before, saves your ass alot and you get to kill buffed people when you are unbuffed.
BTW buffs are for pussies.........

buff's arent for pussies. they are for people who know enough to take advantage of every oppurtunity. Rarely, and I mean rarely, have I seen an unbuffed player drop a buffed player who had the slightest sense of how to play. maybe an unbuffed TKM against a buffed marksman with nothing but pistol2....
I think in the lower levels of your profession, medic is extremely useful. Once you get to master of your elite, medic isnt as useless. if you pick your battles, you wont really need the medic skills. but in the early stages, medic is a lifesaver. i didnt drop medic till i hit master pistoleer. I was even reluctant then to drop it. but it has been 3 months without medic, and I am loving it.

i kill people when i'm unbuffed all the time when they are buffed. I have beat 3 master gunfighter/ebh when they were buffed and i wasnt. I used to do it when the sonic pistol wasnt around but now that it is i kill even more people when they are buffed and armored. Thats pretty bad if you have never beat anyone in those types of situations, i mean i have taken way more than just one person that was buffed when i wasnt.
