please tell me we'll have new battle postures when firing guns.
me and my friend were having a conversation about this and other little details in the game that sort of take away the combat/star wars feel to the game.
As it is now when you fire a pistol you use two hands when standing still, this I do not have a problem with if it was linked to the /aim command, because you only really fire this way when you're at say a shooting range or something where you have the time to aim and stand. You'll notice Leia used this posture in A New Hope on board her Blockade Runner when the ST's were approaching her. She of coursed used the /aim command before they noticed her.
What we were thinking about is something like this- Han Posture
Now let's pretend that in that pic, if Han was playing SWG he would be targetted to a ST. I would like it that if you tab on the targets around you your avatar would do as it is now but sort of position your body in the way that Han is in.
I think you get the basic idea i'm getting at. Maybe some random postures so it looks like not everybody looks the same in combat, maybe Bounty Hunters hold their guns a specific way than Pistoleers would do, and the basic postures would be for Marksmen.
So if this is already brought to the Devs attention thats great, if it's not let's see that it does.

I would love to have a Pistol stance where you only used one hand, like in Knights of the Old Republic. I always liked how they fired a pistol in that game. Here's an example: Look at the blue Twi'lek
Pistol at hip or chest level (or somewhere in between) and the other hand out to the side. Definitely the Star Wars way to fire a blaster Pistol.

it would be real cool if they just created a few different postures that could be selected, kind of like moods. a lazy look, the "leatherslapper" look, the sideways grip, etc etc...

I was also going to suggest that but sort of brought it up when I said that BH might have different postures than a straight pistoleer would.
Now if they ever add gun holsters which I hope they also think about, then nothing would make me happier sitting in a cantina with one leg ona tableand one hand on the side of my holster ready for action.
