Thread: Can someone tell me if this guy is cheating??

Ok a few nights ago i went pvping and forgot to equip my stun chestplate DOH!! But anyway some pistoleer/bh comes along and hits me 2 times and im dead 
i look at the combat log and it says he uses torso shot on you for 1800 dmg he uses torso shot on you for 2300 dmgthen he runs out and kills my friend who has a 40% stun armor chestplate in 3 shots OMG! Now ethier this guy has the most legendary pistol in the game and just used his anti decay kit on it and felt like using it now or he was cheating.

Well its a krayt geo pistol with looted parts prop. with power ups. My guess would be a very well made GEO with krayt tissues, and looted parts, with a damage slice of 32 or higher with damage power ups.
He could have been the pistoleer/bh/smuggler or a BH/pisoleer, BH get great speed and acc. with pistols and carbines. He would have to be a Pistoleer to use a geo.
I do not believe he is not cheating, just knew how to use his character

AFAIK the best crafted Geo hit 666 unsliced and unpupped,max slice and max pup puts it over 1200 top end. So it is possible this was a crafted gun, but unlikely. Prolly some insane loot drop.

My DE-10 according to Rems Damage calculator does 2983 damage per second with last ditch and 1491 with Health Shot 2, Eye Shot and Torso shot. I am capped on speed and my pistol does 169-494 damage with a pup.

Remember to take into account the 75% damage reduction in PvP, and armor, and mitigation.

Lag can also be a factor, not sure though. Sometimes with lag shots will stack and look like insane amounts of damage.

seriously.... the only time i've seen damage like this is from a power hammer with 2700 damage
not sure if he's exploiting, but you can get csr's to check it out (but i'd ask the guy first and if he's real nice, will let you see it in a trade window or something, then leave it alone... if he's a jerk about it, submit the ticket)
