I have been taking a break from the game for about a month and a half now.

I have been reading as much as I can about all the updates etc...
I have been a veteran since launch and wonder what veteran items my pistoleer should
apply for. Obiviously the anti-decay kit for sure, but what others can I get along with that
and are those items tradeable or able to be sold?
Which ones are the most profitable?

What are some of the new NPC spawns out there and where can I find them? What kinda loot do they drop?
What are some of the best loot drop areas out there now.
How tough are they and what vulnerabilities do they have?

Thanks

What seems to be the most valuable veteran reward in the game right now (at least on my server), fromthe perspective of selling it for cash,is the anti-decay kit. That would also be the most valuable one for a pistoleer to obtain to improve his toon (if you don't want to sell it). Personally, I think the resources deed should be worth more, considering that some resources have sold for 200 (occasionally even 300) cpu.

If it were me in your position, I would get the ADK, the resource deed, and the self-powered harvester kit (you should qualify to get all three). You can sell/trade them all if you have no use for them.

I'll let somebody else answer the rest of your post--you can actually find some good answers to those questions if you do a search through this forum's archives or check the FAQ. Those questions have been answered many times recently (in fact, I think there's a thread just a few posts down right now).

Welcome back from your vacation.

Yes the anti decay kit has been selling for millions easily, and the resources have also gone for alot...since they are tradeable Im assuming people are trying to antidecay all thier best weapons and entire suits of armor.

Its crazy, but thats the way it is...on the personal side if you dont need/want the money the de-10 is perfect for the anti decay kit if you have a good one.

You know who I'm jealous of with regards to the Anti-Decay Kits? Swordsmen.

Think about it. Up until now they've basically had two serious combat weapons: the Power Hammer (great against AT-STs and Turrets, horrible in PvP), and the Scythe (/drool scythe!)

Most swordsmen I know would only use their Scythe if it never decayed, up until now. It'sa superior weapon, good speed, high damage, relatively low HAM costs... Now, this rare, hard-to-get weapon is non-decayable! They only need one Scythe in their inventory, and if they destroy it in favor of a better one, it's no problem! They've got a better one that'll never wear out! I wish I was a career Swordsman, just so I could feel the joy of finally being able to use my 200-500 dmg Scythe with decay-free impunity....

Pistoleers, unfortunately, have a bazillion weapons we use. We have our uber-krayted Scatters, our uber-krayted Geons, our uber-krayted DE-10s, our uber-goraxed Strikers, our pre-nerf FWG5s... the list goes on and on. Swordsmen get to pick one extremely hard to replace weapon and never fear for its loss again. We don't.

Focking Swordsmen anyway. Why are they even in SWG?

It's easier to apply LS mods to a sword than to a Pistol.
