i was away for a month or so because of a virus that desrtoyed my computer. i read somewhere on the forums here a day ago that shots that bleed cause a loss of XP because of some glitch. is that true?

Its true but its not a glitch, they changed it to that in publish 6.

Yeap, bleeds equal less experience. Stay away from them for maximum leveling.
