I did a trade with someone (for a Jabba missiom item I will never use) for a Geno sonci pistol. I was surprised how low the dmg was and it did not have any spical dmg types. :-(
It looks and sounds cool when fired, but my Repulbic Blaster (w/ bleed) out does it on dmg and speed.

Question? It says Dmg type is stun, will it actually stun the target?

I might sell it?

Stun is a dmg type just like energy, kinetic etc.. However, Stun damage is wanted because most composite is vulnerable to stun dmg. Also, the one you looted was a crappy one. Mostly because the looted ones are crap. You however can loot a schematic and then have a WS make it for you. I saw a screenshot of one yesterday that was .4 atk spd, and 270-671 dmg with a 33% powerup on it. Now that's a nice pistol

Dont believe 90% of those screen shots.......think about it....its not true but the rest of the professions will start CRY NERF PISTOLEER

we have been nerfed lol and they will eventually cry nerf again..... think about it hes holding a DX2 doing eyeshot gd pistoleers ROFL

If you take a look at the tangle pistol, anything is an improvement. someone was advertising a DoT looted geo blaster and the stats weren't all that great, though it had a DoT. /shrug

Therefore, knowing the quality of the the looted items as base dmg and speed, a master weaponsmith with a schematic can make this pistol comparable to our better guns. With our low DPS and the fact that they are giving every other ranged proffession different dmg types (the DRX-6 tenloss is a rifle that will do acid dmg, so they now have acid,stun(jawa ion) and energy. Carbineers now can do acid/energy dmg (Nym slugthrower does acid)), we need a good stun weapon to be effective in PvP.
