Well with forty skill points you could just about do 0/4/4/4.
That'll get ya the Genosian Blaster cert and Stopping Shot/Fan shot. Get you pretty much to the speed cap and give you improved accuracy. Hope that helps!
P.S. Do a forum search for Grimbal Calc. Its a tool that will let you build a template and see how many skill points you can spend ect..

0/3/4/4 for 40 points, or 0/0/4/3 for 27 points IMO.If you really want a stand alone proffesion for 40/27 skill points (i see your SL, so no backup combat prof), you might wanna look at TKA. You'll be ok with either of those pistol setups tho, just not outstanding.

woops no one noticed this (including me) but you hadn't counted novice pistoleer, so that's -6 points. in that case for 34 SP I would go 0/1/4/4 for 21 skill points I would go 0/0/4/1.You'll have issues with both speed and accuracy (accuracy only if you spend the 34 points). But nothing to drastic as long as you have a pistol that's suited for your build.
