Hi guys,

I've been pistoleer for a while but I'm more and more frequently deciding to do pvp. At the moment, I have two decent geo mind poison guns that will last for a while and I'm currently accumulating the parts for a DE-10.

Anyway, was just wondering what tips you who have been doing it for a while have for taking on other characters (especially Jedi!!). I'm BH 3040, MP, Medic 4240 if that helps.

I have gave up fighting jedi. I try to take out at least one of the members of the gank squad and then take my DB from the jedi like a man. As I b*itch about how jedi have ruined the game in guild.

I have found the launcher pistol to be relatively effective against jedi, tho, if you are going against them solo you are likely to get pwnd.

FD from the rogue line of smuggler also comes in rather handy in pvp.

Facts to Know:
1. Superman's only weakness is Kryptonite. Jack Bauer laughs at Superman for having a weakness.
2. When Jack Bauer goes to the airport and the metal detector doesn't go off, security gives him a gun.
3. If Jack Bauer saw a terrorist reaching for a bomb to blow himself up, Jack would shoot the bomb first. Nobody steals a kill from Jack Bauer.

My template is pretty good for PVP, but if you want to solo jedi you need to go with a melee prof.

my suggestion is to spend gobs and gobs of money on attachments for accuracy till you are capped on accuracy and have high accuracy while stand and moving... cause you will miss 90% of the time otherwise. also spend gobs of money on weapons or you wont do sqaut for damage when you do hit

The best thing you can do is keep a healthy array of dmg types with you at all times. also learn the armor on your server. this will help you decide which weapons are the best to use. I also suggest buying a seriously krayted scatter though the speed is not necessary teh super high acid dmg is EXTREMELY useful in PvP since there is rarely high acid resists (unless you have good armorsmiths on yourserver who can get 70% base which is sliceable to 90....grrrr Yaman, Akme etc).

another tip...DONT SPAM!!! all spamming does is fill up your action qeue and if you need to hit another DOT you have to clear it etc. take your time and learn all your specials (which are broken which work etc.) some specials are useful at some times and other times arent. like the earlier guy said accuracy is very important for pistoleers (mainly cause they get crappy accuracy mods from the get go).

I noticed a huge difference in shooting at jedi and actually hitting them when i got the force accuracy. Oh and take some dead eye too.
