Thread: New Pistoleer Needs PVP advice (also, do I need a DOT geo blaster?)

Well after playing swords and rifles for a year I decided for a change so I'm master pistoleer/bh pistols and smuggler pistols. I'm having a great time with the new professions. Suprisingly I'm holding my own in pvp but I'm sure I'm missing things. What are your favorite tactics? Also I'm seeing some Geo mind bleed blasters on vendors and wondering if I should invest and if so ... what stats should I look for.
Any help is appreciated.

For pvp, I use only pistols with the triple master setup unless I am fighting a Jedi.
With the triple master setup, when using pistols, I use only smuggler skills and novice brawler for intimidate.
Head out there and find what works for you.
Panic shot works great when you want to apply intimidate but dont want to be hurt during the 3-4 attempts it takes to stick. Low Blow is a nice opener for a 3-4 last ditch spam. Thats pretty much the basics right there.
In your case, you have BH dots and a special that targets mind, more options in various sitautions but more limited vs. Jedi and take more damage when kd'ed.

im going through the same situation. I personnally like to have some dotted pistols. I was not going to drop medic and just dable with some BH carbine and maybe some of the carbineer prof. But I have decided to get last ditch. I have mind poison geo pistol and a health posion geo pistol and a health fire geo pistol Im not sure if the health fire and torso shot stack but it only has 670 uses so its ok. I think Im gonan stick with this the low blow then stack on all the dots is nice then you can intim and start spamming last ditch. The best part is that if thier mind or health get really low you can start to only target that pool. With either eyeshot or bodyshot3. I will see how I do with the dirty fighting row.
