Hello, and first I'd like to thank Tiggs for this opportunity. Do you know me? Probably not. I've been playing this game since Beta 3 and I have played several different professions. I've been a Weaponsmith/Merchant who was afraid to run to his harvesters (especially if they were on Dathomir). I've been a Teras Kasi Master/Master Swordsman who could cut through nightsisters with ease (well not so easily lately I would guess). And I have been a Pistoleer.
Pistoleer, I believe, is the quintessential Starwars ranged melee profession. It's not the stormtrooper with the Heavy Blaster Cannon walking through the Mos Eisley shuttleport. It's not the squads of stormtroopers and their fancy, yet could miss the side of a barn, E11 carbines. It's Han Solo with his trust DL-44. It's the royal security forces with the Republic Blaster. It's more Jango with his blazing pistols then Boba with his unwieldy "Sawed off BlasTech EE-3 blaster rifle." Kudos to the person who can point out where I got that from.
I'm here to make sure your voice is heard. I'm here to present information from the developers to you, and from you to the developers. I am a software developer myself, and I know how long this process can take, but with time and care we can make pistoleer the profession we all dreamed it could be. I know how to test software and I think we can easily spot the main problems we have as a profession. I know that I can do well for you, and for the rest of the SWG community. Pistoleers need to be balanced and enfolded as a necessary cog in this great machine we call Galaxies.
To the 5 sandbox testers I hope that you will bare with me in this transition process. I will be PM'ing each of you so we can discuss and move forward. I trust RandonB's judgement in this process and all of you should remain on as testers as long as you are still active.
To the rest of the community thank you for your welcome and I thank even any jeers that come my way I can be strong enough in the face of any storm
. I know I can't replace RandonB he along with SmugglerCaylin were two of my favorite correspondents. But I hope I can earn your trust with this profession.

Congrats.
Though you'll find me on the Smuggler forum more than the Pistoleer forum, I do browse through here occasionally to see what's happening with my primary combat profession.
I look forward to seeing what you can accomplish for all Pistoleers. And I look forward to working with you on the Combat Sandbox (I'm part of Team Smuggler), when the time comes.

Seriously though, thanks for the warm welcome...Im getting up to speed and Ill be rearranging the forum a little, Ill even try to update the FAQ with permissions and such

Welcome and good luck! Now Randonb can scurry away and leave you with the revamp mess 
Glad to see we've got another fellow chilastrian correspondent. Pistoleers (in my opinion) have seen the least amount of change (relatively speaking)since release, so we've got a lot to do.

Carabineer trolls are easy to deal with. After 2 or 3 posts they've blown through their HAM and are easy pickings.
