I am a Master Pistoleer, BH 3/0/4/0, Smuggler 0/0/4/0. I was wondering, that if in PVP and Jedi hunting if having the Defensive Templates like fenser 0/0/4/0 or 0/4/0/0 instead of the smuggler line is better. I have never tried it and am looking for some input. I will not give up any BH skills!! I love the offensive out-put with this template, and I do very well PVP as is and usually don't solo. I only want tooppinionson the templates, not foods, armor, armor/clothing attachments.

It's a choice you make. I think it depends more on playstyle than one being better than the other.

The agreed upon way to run a jedi to the ground, at least one of a decent level, is to run him out of force. That requires you to be able to survive, making defenses more important (besides, a good offense is a mindifre gun. You can use a mindfire gun whether you have smuggler or not), IMHO anyway.

Ever considered dropping master pistoleer? If you scale back down to 0041 pistoleer, with the lines in BH you'll have 91 speed (caps stopping shot at 2.9) and 115 base accuracy. Spend the now free skillpoints on fencer 4440 and you'll get a lot more defensive mods than you'd get with Master Pistoleer, without loosing any useful specials or mods (well, there's the accuracy mods, but compared to 100 KD def and 80 dizzy def for staying alive... Accuracy doesn't affect saber block anyway).
