I am currently a Master Smuggler with a couple of pistoleer skills and enough CH skills to use a Sludge Panther for PvE. Ihunt with a Docalot and it works well, but I was thinking about dumping the CH and scout skills needed to have CH and going Master Pistoleer b/c I've heard that template isbetter for PvP. I have decent armor/equipment and was wondering if anyone knows if I would still be effectiveor more effective in killing high level PvE? Thanks.

it sucks to say it, but i think youd be better off without ch. its a fun class, i mastered it at one point but just not as good as more combat abilities.

master pistoleer is a good all around profession, and it will work good for you since you'll have last ditch already.

you'll need something like a 1.1 speed pistol to shoot last ditch at speed cap, or only a 1.9 to fanshot at speed cap.

would be nice to add in bh pistol for speed/accuracy/specials, but if youre only going for pve, then you wont need bh. your only problem will be very high level mobs with med or heavy armor and no vulns. You will do crap for damage because we only have ap1 weapons.
