i am currently going master bh and master pistoleer.....is this even worth it...from what i heard ranged combat is seriously underpowered and not worth the time and effort...and being a master bh master pistoleer is totally worthless when fighting a jedi mark...is this true??...am i wasting my time going up the pistoleer tree??

Personally I would do what ever makes you happy. You will have a hard time against High level jedi yes. But against low level jedi, they will die before they even know you are attacking. However I have never seen the point of being a MBH when you can get alot of other cool stuff. But according to TANKS after the combat balance MBH will be worth it so do what you want for now, alot will change after the CB.

I am Desperado and master pistoleer (also rogue) and I can tell you that M.BH and M.Pistoleer won't be that good. You should do some mix... like M.TKA, Desperado and invest. 4, and Pistol 0004 and some other things I cannot remember. But against a jedi your current template you'll be defeated

I agree do whatever makes you happy. If you enjoy using pistols then maximize your skills towards pistols...that might mean being 3040 BH 0040 Smuggler and Master Pistoleer, but if all you really enjoy is hunting jedi, then you may want to go for a melee class because they are weaker against that (at the moment).

Yes the combat balance/revamp/upgrade will change everything, and then you will have to rethink what you want to be...but Ive always played this game for fun, but many peoples idea of fun is FOTM...thats never been my style...
