Currently I have a char with master smuggler/master carbineer/ pistols 0404. I noticed that body shot was a pretty good damage dealer for me better than scatter shot anyways. I was wondering is it worth it to drop the x4xx and go 4004 to get improved body shot or stay where Im at. Is there that big of a difference in body shot vs improved body shot to warrant a swicth?

Well disarming shot is nice, but not crucial. Then again, you have one of teh most powerful shots in the game with Carbineer, so Body shot isnt really something you HAVE to have.
But I would get it. Main reason why is that body shot is one of the most efficient shots in the game. For the damage it does it uses a very small amount of action and has a fairly quick recycle time. I use body shot a lot. Definitely more often than I use Disarming.
Having said all that, why the Master Smuggler? Smuggler is nice, just wondering why you have it. The reason I ask is that Pistoleer gets a nice special in Advanced Stopping at master. Might be worth it for you to go Master pistols and dabble in Smuggler instead. Just a suggestion

agree with the above - mpistols/smug4xxx is very nice. the damage/specials of pistoleer couple with last ditch, which is an awesome skill post-cu (especially PvP). concussion shot is useful as well in group hunts and whatnot.

Just use improved leg and Adv Rapi Fire.

well the reason I got smuggler is because Ive been that from almost the beginning and i like slicing/spice crafting and faction stuff so in that aspect its good. I really love the concussion shot. I know it got nerfed some by it breaking on damage but to be able to hit something with it and not worry about any type of attack for 30 secs while I heal is pretty helpful.
As far as the improved body shot, I was using a improved leg shot - body shot combo that is almost 1 right after another and it is the most damaging combo I have so that swhy I was considering improved body shot. The other thing Im lloking at is that in getting 4000 I loose +40 in accuracy. So that being said is it still worth it?
