The scatter pistol not only has stats similar to fwg5's (if not better) it is AR1 and its AR1 works. Unlike the DX2!

Just agast,

Pistoleers get a pistol nerfed but BH's already uber pistol thats WORSE doesnt get nerfed.

Sheesh.

Fix the DX2, then nerf the marksman pistol.

This would be fine to say if we (pistoleers) had more choices than the DX2. We have to resort to using FWG5 most of the time.....which as you have stated is a marksman weapon.

Step 1. Find several krayt tissues

Step 2. Make a DX2

Step 3. Pwn

Instead of calling for nerfs on the scatter, why not continue to demand fixes for the DX2 (since they've only sucked since day 1)? Ex-master pistoleer, so I do have a little experience with them, and completely agree that they suck for being "the" weapon for pistoleers.

The FWG5 is (was) one of the most powerful guns in the game, and everyone knows it. But, it is also a marksman cert...although I'm not sure that's a whole lot different than BS2 being one of the best attacks to use as a master pistoleer.

A very upper end Krayt Scatter is 150-340, with power up and a really good slice...

It also requires 160 skill points to use...

The fw5 requires 24 skill points to use and has typically on my server is 80-480.....

Go for getting the DX2 improved, but if you have not learned your lesson about the class that cried nerf, then nothing will help you

Yeah, well here isa Scatter pistol on my server:498 max dmg, 2.1 speed AP1 and here is another 411 max dmg, 1.x speed AP1. What server do you play on?

Scatter pistols take 1 krayt tissue just like a FWG5.

Yes yes, a FWG5 can get a higher max dmg rating then a Scatter pistol, but if you take into account that if you're fighting any mob or player with AR1 with a FWG5, then you can cut your damage in half straight away.

So I really don't get the people posting in this thread that FWG5 is the most powerful pistol out there. The FWG5 is just the best pistol we got, but it's by far overpowered.

...and it turns out we're playing on the same server, well isn't that interesting.

nerfing fwg is fine as long as they fix the ar1 and damage of dx2! and make it use 1 krayt (like the scatter and any other pistol)not 5...

Phoa show me a picture....Seriously, they boast about the highest scatter all the time on the BH boards..

I have never seen one break the numbers you have, and trust me, I run to sickles shop, Madars, Road kills, Mookai's and every other master-krayt weapons smith on our server...

Also the scatter is a superior weapon to the fw5, one is a marksmen weapon, and one is an elite..

Its ok, I remember those 700+ fan shots you were hitting me with .....But I do look for the best weapons, and my 288 scatter is very expensive and one of the nicer ones on the server.
