Thread: Best build for Pure pistol
I am seeking input from the experienced and intelligent minds in this forum to determine what build I should choose if I desire to engage primarily in PvE (do themeparks, badges, holocron searches, explore etc..) and focus on pistols. I know there are a lot of broken certs and problems but I dig the pistols.
So other than the obvious mastering of pistoleer how do I evaluate the choices...smuggler line has some knockdowns, bounty hunter line gives two good specials (once eyeshot is taken to master) and some good bonuses, novice commando provides the launcher pistol for good damange of a different type, creature handler provides a tank (thoughpost nerf it sounds likeit willrequires master to get a decent one), Medic skills are always helpful....
What am I missing? How does that add up?

If you are gonna solo PvE, and want Pistoleer I like Doctor/Pistoleer. You can heal, buff and fight. And you are also useful in a group being able to heal and shoot ![]()

And also get scout as much as possible too. Helps for mask scent and camps etc. Although this is more useful as a soloer than in a group.

i would reccomend getting novice smuggler, and the DF line while getting the speed line of pistoleer,(separate exp needed, pistol for DF, and combat forStances)
then with feign death, KD, panic shot, and last ditch, start working on pistoleer stuff, just get some really fast guns for this, working well for me, i use pistolwhip/lowblow a lot followed by pancic shot ,the bleeds, intimidate(brawler) and Bodyshot2, im almost to last ditch, the TECH line of pistoleer isnt quite as usefull as the DF line, until thedefense mods start working, i would say DF+pistoleer stances, then after you make rouge, finishup the pistols, and medic 2/2/0/0 works well, heal bleeds, and heal at +35 injurytreatment, with speed mods on heals just my advise though
scout 3/0/0/0 is also a helper on staying masked and not having to walk everywhere
till vehicles then you can plow over the kreeles hehe
i have done almost all
done
cm/pistoleer -(when i was a cm poison cs did 17 damage) bias
doc/ pistoleer -you can get a buff just about anywhere so unless you like healing other people while they fight and you not fight not worth it
ch/ pistoleer- great while it lasted but you cant get used to playing when your class changes every week
now i am
pistoleer/ smuggler/ novice medic/ novice commando / marksman
you get +5 speed at marksman for lastditch and at commando you get the launcher pistol(since fwg5 is getting nerfed you need something to replace it) with last ditch you can destroy turrets or if your rebel atsts with easy i do about 3500 -4000 damage per sec witha good gunto them. in pvp i hit lowblow>panic>last ditch= 250 damage> 300 damage>1k+ damage and if they are still not dead hit them one more time with last ditchand they are done
another thing i am starting to see more are master combat smugglers
master combat smugglers are master smuggler master tka master pistoleersif they ever get defenses working they would be a froce to reckon with
