Thread: Will existing armor/weapons be converted when C.U. comes?

sure hope my 90% composite with tons of pistol AA's does not get turned into some armor i'm not certed for.

Hehe, yeah I was wondering the same thing today. It would make sense that comp armor would get converted to recon armor if you're a pistoleer, but for people with double/triple masters with different armor certs, I can't imagine how it would be determined what type of armor it would be converted into. If it gets converted to battle armor, then I'm going to be losing a lot of expensive AA's. I wouldn't mind much if they gave us the ability to recover our AA's from converted armor.
I think a sensible approach would be to let players choose what type of armor they want their existing armor converted into.

Well i just bought a set of ubese and still have a pretty decent sat of comp
so if it does change when cu goes live i am set

yes. All items in the game will be converted...would be pointless to have the whole "prenerf" problem.

As far as I understand it, there are NO certifications for armor. There's just mitigation to the standard penalites that the new armor gives.
Regardless of that, Ido hope armor will get converted properly.

I just bought a brand new 2 million credit Geo Blaster and 2 sets of 90% composite and stun armor (before I cancelled my account 5 months ago). It would kinda suck ifthey worthless once the CU goes in.
