Thread: PIstoleers lets organize for CU testing

If you plan on testing the CU and plan on doing it as a pistoleer lets start to organize here. we can all get together in TC then and work on what works and what doesnt work for our profession.

rest assured, some of us are already organized and ready to make sure pistoleers skills are ready. I understand many of you are upset that we will no longer be a damage class, but we will have a place on the battlefield.

damage class, that is funny. We were never truely a damage class, even with a good pistol.

Ok we will have a place on the battlefield...
And In PVE, are we going to stand a chance against one big fat mob? crowd control is useless in this case. And how can we do missions if we do no damage by ourselves?

Boy am i worried....

If we are fighting the big fat mob, we can prevent them from doing damage to us (by using our crowd control abilities) and hence, can still win the battle. It isn't all about damage.

Maxx, you may or may not remember me, but I was one of the four self-proclaimed Pistoleer Trolls, along with Pug and Uthyr few months back (Uthyr was our resident number cruncher). Anyway, if my trolls are still here, I'd love some info on how to rejoin you guys on TC to test out these changes with you guys. After a couple months of WoW, I'm ready to hit the ground running for the Pistoleers! Sign me up!

You are more than welcome to join us.

I am Maxx on TC5 I hope all pistoleers get out there and try it out. right now you can only do novice profs, but I hope we can move on soon.

hopefully heh.. im 0303 marksmen, nearing 0404 its just the XP on TC5 is sooooo slow.

I had been wondering where you disappeared to, Ren. Welcome back. I'm Uthyr on TC5 (go figure) but I haven't been playing it much because it is frustrating to me to be a noob pistoleer again I had a good hearty laugh yesterday when I got the message "You have been incapacitated by a dwarf nuna," and I had to immediately go log onto Naritus after that so I could feel powerful again.


I do like a great deal of what I have seen of the CU though. It just needs some serious tweaking.

I know what you mean about the Dwarf Nuna thing, it's happening to alot of us. Just yesterday, there was a hunting party being organized on Bestine, to go up against.... DWARF NUNAS! lol. That one cracked me up.


I'll definatly be testing Pistoleer once we get up to that stage. I'm very eager to try out Quickdraw.

Hehe, yeah, I can imagine spending an entirebuff session hunting those things for meat, and coming up with a whopping stack of 200 units and a debilitating collection of battle wounds. The doc would take one look at me and say, "Ah,yet another poorfoolwho thought he could take ondwarf nunas."


I'd love to hear what happened if any hunting groups out there have yettried to take on a krayt on TC.

Heya Uthyr! Yeah, I kinda dropped off the face of the forums for a while to take a break. Glad you're still around though.


I'm "glad" to hear that you're getting the same results I am. I couldn't believe in Bestine, when I had 1000 HP, and my opponent that 600 that he beat me! I was stunned, and not the kind of Stunned that leaves you with that stupid little icon by your character's Group display. Very depressing to see that I couldn't even kill one of those. Oh well! See you fellas in-test!
