Thread: Only Problem I can so far see with CU (besides bugs)

Now don't get me wrong I gave up on pistoleer a while ago, but pistoleer/smuggler has always held a closeness to my heart. I left Pistoleer/smuggler after being one for what seemed like 5 or more months. One of the things that kept me to Pistoleer was the Intimidator pistol when it was found in the .tre files. I loved the look of this lovely weapon. Now the first thing I did when I logged into TC5 is quite literally look for this pistol, I was annoyed to find it not in the pistols line (where it should be) I was even more annoyed when I found that it wasn't in smuggler, so I tried looking in Squad Leader and low and behold I found it there, and the master square no less (so I can't do a tiny bit of dabbling just for it). The rest of the CU is great, and now I beg the devs to put the intimidator pistol into the master pistoleer and put the republic blaster in it's place.
Please please please I love that pistol and I want it!!!
EDIT: Just because I noticed I didn't actually sound appreciative of the CU, the rest of it is really very good (yes even the extreme difficulty of noob crits (as it should be)). I can't wait to test the pistoleer, it's a pity that the pistoleer isn't a defense based profession but I can undrestand the Crowd Control decision and I strongly look forward to it. All involved did an epic job as far as the marksman pistol skills go.
Please please please I love that pistol and I want it!!!

wow that is the same thing i thought when i saw the intimidator. i was like F*** yeah i always wanted to go back to pistols anyway, woot.
devs pwned me
ugh i freakin hate all the pistols in game except the de-10.The rest look fruity...

What are you talking about? The rest of the pistols at least look/are Star Wars pistols. The DE-10 is the one that looks fruity. It's like they took an old Magnum and tried to make it Star Warsy, failing miserably.
That being said, I agree that the Intimidator should've been a Pistoleer weapon. Probably should have given Squad Leaders the DeathHammer.

That being said, I agree that the Intimidator should've been a Pistoleer weapon. Probably should have given Squad Leaders the DeathHammer.
As a Master Smuggler / Master Pistoleer, I would gladly give up my nice new Death Hammer cert to have the Intimidator moved to Master Pistoleer. But, I am not getting my hopes up. That was the pistol I most looked forward too when they were all anounced.
A quick question though, I may have missed it, but where are the certs for the Flare & Jawa Ion pistol's going? I don't see them listed anywhere.

The biggest problem I have with the CU at least with the pistoleer part of it is that none of the new pistols is in the pistoleer profession.I at one time was a pistoleer/swordsman and was planning on respecing to be a pistoleer once again but I don't know if I will if the only pistol we get is the death hammer (and I have never done smuggler and don't really want to). I don't really feel like going to the DWB to get a schematic for a DE-10 after the respec either and I probably don't have enough money to just buy one.

I must be mistaken but most of the work that the CU has involved is what players wanted not just a sudden seat of the pants decision (like most of the changes before). It's a small possiblity but it's a possibility never the less.

The flare pistol is being renamed the flair pistol and is being given to image designers.
It won't do any damage, but you can tell it is being wielded by a master ID/pistoleer by the trail of FABULOUSNESS left in its wake!
