Thread: Pistoleers Solo'n Ancients?!!?!?!?

So im driving through the graveyard and i start to see numbers poping, as i come up to it there is a lone pistoleer.... and an ancient.... i sit and watch for a few min untill the ancient dies, the pistoleer pops out a jetpack and flys off... now i would like to know how this is done.. i myself am a pikemen and i feel i am more of a tank then any pistoleer, so this makes no sense to me. is there somthing in dont know? the pistoleers name was zengen or somthing and im on bria server btw.

Really really good equipment I'd imagine. It would take me hours of shooting at an ancient to kill one, and that's not even counting that they kd me every second.

I have killed countless Aicents with a poweruped de-10 and torso shot. I stay outside of 55m and always right on my bike ready to go.

517maxdmg DE10 + PU, panicshot, lowblow, Torsoshot, Healthshot1/2 and feigndeath.
8000er fire sometimes. only a Jedi is faster

And Commando... can't stack torso but you can stack Flame Single 1\2 and Flame Cone 1\2 - and you can stack it for each Flamethrower you use. 4 Flamethrowers in your inventory = 16 Stacked Fire Dots

Yes, it is possible - some people have just never worked out how to use pistols properly and think it is all about power - it is about tactics and sensible use of specials!

does that mean that multiple bleed dots (from Healthshot1/2) can be applied from multiple different pistols?

I don't think so - I am sure this would have been discussed in depth on the pistoleer forums if it was the case.
It does definately work for Commando's though.

I saw a Krayt called an Adolecent Krayt dragon.....it had the exact same stats as the Ancient that was sitting about 150m away from it.... 95% resist to all, 400k+ HAM....and Heavy armor. As I was examining this beast it attacked me and destroyed my swoop. I had no choice but to fight it...and yes, I was alone. I ate my food (and was buffed already) and started laying in torsoshot + healthshot 2 then spammed stopping shot. I kept running up and down the hillside while firing upon the dragon. I noticed that after a while I was no longer taking damage. I managed to find a sweet spot about 55m away from him where he wasn't hitting me, but I was hitting him. I pushed numlock so that I was on a continual run and I just ran circles around him. It took me about 20 minutes, but I killed it. The sad ending to this story is that it had no loot. My weapon of choice was a DE-10 (ADK'd) with a max damage of about 405 and I kept feeding it +32% power-ups.
