It's going to be part of the Profession Revamps, as I understand it. PRs are scheduled for after the CU.

I'm surprised some dual-wield isn't in the CU, since with the new system, they'd kinda wanna test the balance of the new system with the alternate setup... In the other hand (the one not wielding a pistol), it might be easier to balance the dual-wield configuration once the single-gun setup is done. Because the conceptually simple +speed/damage -accy shouldn't be hard to put in once you have the basics in. Ooh, and this might apply to 1h Lightsabers too.... =3
