So, i've been wondering, all the old armor/weapons are being converted...does that mean if I go and buy 5 of the weapons that are being converted to stronger ones (Power5, Republic Blaster, DX2) that they will become uber over night?

Well, currently those guns are more powerful than the ones in the scope of the CU, so they will be adjusted to fit... as will all the others.
