Thread: Pistoleer in PvP
3rd tier stances and grips for stopping shot(very high damage, low ham cost)and 1st tier special abilties for melee defense 1(melee range knockdown,high ham cost, ok damage). these were mybread and butter for both pvp and pve tilli hit master for disarming 2.

but doesn't disarm shot get knocked off when poisen ticks?

Solo Pvp got wooped up really bad. (msmuggler/mpistoleer) But in a small group, I was king. Pistoleer's role in Pvp is support so is Smuggler, You're a huge help droping roots, intims, and delays.I added 0040 bh intomy temp. I have5 attacks that hit mult enemies. three that add stats (delay,-80 def, stun) 2 that do good dam. So don't look down on your role as suport, your support is what wins the war.
A freind along with a master rifle dropped 2 jedi knights like they were nothing with the same temp. I have. The pistoleer ran in rooted the two jedi, hit them with the state that make more vuln. to stat changes, and ran out of range. The master rifle (can hit out of saber throw range) Tore them up. The pistoleer just kept runing in to drop delays, decresed def, and roots. The jedi were quite mad.
I don't think it's as much about your template stacking, but your stacking with in a group.

It does, but you just stick it again. You may take a few hits though.
and if you group pvp then your group will love you for the bonuses. take care i hoped i helped.I agree. I do pretty well at pvp. My losses have gone down once i learned my profession. Mixed with Master CM, i tend to hold my own.
I love crowd control and when it comes down to it, can dish out a bit of damage as well. My wins against jedi have increased. even MBH and Rifles. im am not saying i don't get hit. i get hit a lot. but it all in how you strategize your attacks. that is what the CU did for me that was positive. along with seeing my friends again.
(wish i could be a duel pistol holder though) i know wishful thinking.
The only thing I find sad for my pvp as a pistoleer is that half the time I have to equip and use a carbine instead
