Thread: Returning after 4 months, totally lost HELP!
I feel your pain, Reja. I transitioned to the CU slowly because I was playing with it on test center for a while before it went live, but somebody being thrust into it at this point would certainly feel lost. I was just talking the other dayto my former SWG mentorfrom when I first started playing--he just returned after a long hiatus and says that everything is "all weird" now. Once I was the apprentice, now I am the master... ![]()
To try to answer some of your questions... my favorite pistols after the CU were my Modified Republic Blasters. Theygot decent damage conversions, and I had a ton of them! They are relatively cheap too. DL44's are nice pistols, but their action cost was too high for me (though now that I am using rifles, it seems so low!). Geo Blasters are no longer must-have pistols, nor is the DE-10, unfortunately.Contrary to what you have been told, max damage is more important than DPS... DPS can be misleading and inaccurate, but may be somewhat helpful as an at-a-glance comparison tool. As for redoing your stats, stat migration no longer exists in this game, so you don't have to worry about that.
As for your template, BH is a really nice profession to supplement pistoleer (I'm not sure if you meant picking up a profession to supplement pistoleer, or one to replace it). You'll get some great skill mods and specials with it. Grinding is way different now--I don't bother with doc buffs anymore (though I only infrequently used them pre-CU anyway, so that was no major change for me). You'll definitely want to stick to mobs that are close to your own combat level. Any gray-con mobs will only give you 1 XP per kill. You can definitely still grind solo (I did it), but you'll get much faster XP ina group. Play whichever way you prefer and don't let anybody tell you that you have to be grouped now.
Good luck, and welcome back!

Yes its a delay to their ranged attack (possibly spammable from rumor I heard) and stopping shot also does what it says now.

I am able to spam it ![]()
although i don't use macro's so there really isn't any spaming, but it's mainly usefull totemperaraly imobalize a target while your allies run away or run to you ![]()
