Hi, I was a pistoleer way back before the CU came to SWG and have just recently become one again. Since the CU, I haven't really known where to hunt to raise my level. I'm currently level 15. If anyone can give me any advice on where to level up my character I'd really appreciate it. Thanks.

and you can do the dantooine thing like everyone else does hehe

Unfortunately, it's not so much a matter of finding a place to hunt. It's a matter of finding mobs that are the right combat level relative to you. Right now, in any given place (with some exceptions), you can find a wide range of CL's, and the exact same mob species may have very different CL's depending on whether you are running a mission off the terminals vs. just shooting creatures that you randomly encounter (the devs have stated that this is going to be addressed though--that you'll be able to go to certain places to find mobs of your CL). The suggestion to hunt grouped is a good one, but if you don't want to do that (or can't at times), I'd suggest taking missions from a player-city mission terminal. More often than not, they will give you missions with mobs close to your combat level (though this is not always the case). if you get to your mission location and see that the mobs are conning gray when you arrive (this is very frustrating), just cancel the mission and go get another one.

since i am a mch,mp,1,4,3bh i can solo on dantooine np. a little slow because i am soloing because you need to be careful but it is doable.

glad this isnt mine but man i can tell u best place to grind
get 5-6 peeps go hunt gurks lairs on lok 6k each u will grind out fast trust me and GL
