All other things being relatively equal, I get owned by every carbine user worth his salt in PvP. I am just a novice pistoleer so I dont have eye shot/stopping shot etc. Ummmm....what am I doing wrong?

Also, what is the "pistol whip" skill? Where is it at on pistoller skill tree?

pistolwhip aka meleedefense 1 is tier 1 pistol abilties.

against any rifle/carbine user i get in melee range while attacking and /follow, they miss like crazy especially since most will start running heh

Against any rifle or carbine user, I will charge them and get inside their effective range so they miss a whole lot more. If you stay at long range, you will get chewed up and ground into little pistoleer goo

Carbineer or Bounty Hunter, there's a world of difference.
