Well, thanks to this patch, hereafter referred to as Pandora’s box, gaining faction has become almost impossible… Before the devs opened Pandora’s box, I was having a lot of fun ripping through Storm Trooper camps thanks to my Master Doctor buffs… Now that the box is open, all I can get is some crappy garbage about “cadets” They con blue for crying out loud, and I get less than 10 faction per kill. Not to mention, pitiful experience. The highest paying mission I have ever seen produces equally pathetic white con mobs.

Oh, and do you know what other great stuff came out of Pandora’s box?

1) Well, I don’t gain ANY faction points from doing missions from C-3PO now

2) PA hall admin still hasn’t been fixed

3) Droids suck harder than ever before… My condolences to the poor people who thought that Droid Engineer might be a good profession.

4) The economy has been destroyed… People earn FAR FAR less, so they must charge MUCH MUCH more for their goods… Or at least, keep the price the same (still murderous)

5) Many people’s houses were destroyed

6) Did I mention faction gaining has been brutally nerfed?

(Hey devs, is any of this new to you? I’m thinking… maybe its just a bug… Hey, if none of this is a bug so far, well read on)

7) My eyes, **edit** is wrong with my eyes… My cranium is writhing in agony at having to look the new UI

8) I found out today that night sisters resist 100% of my FWG damage… That’s always fun

9) Master weapon smiths and architects are still missing resources for their components on chillastra (maybe the upcoming rollover will fix that… what am I thinking… that wont fix anything)

10) How can I forget this damned race type setup for the story line… 2 people, imp and reb, from each server get huge faction for decoding this cries of alderaan thing first… Lets all thank the devs for GREATLY reducing the fun by setting it up as a race… Hey, at least we will know who is the biggest power gamer. Grats to the person who plays for 72 hours straight within the first couple of days.

11) Flourishes… The new ones… Ok, if you have seen them, I don’t need to say anymore

12) Commando’s are out it full force now… and you know what that means… LAG AND LOW FPS!!! Devs… Why did you call the Launcher Pistol “Launcher Pistol”… Wouldn’t “LAGGISH LD CANNON!!!” be a more fitting term?

Hey, im mad at this **edit** patch… So vent/report bugs with me, flame me, I don’t care… Why don’t you just post about what you got out of Pandora’s box?

4 Blue/white Imps and im dead, full buffed with 2k Health and StimDs before i get 2 of them down. should i make deliver missions?

Faction pets are your friend.

You take on 4vs1 and you expect to win? You have to be Han Solo or Jango Fett to do that...

what do you mean faction points are hard to gain now.... i gain at least 300 in an hour minimal thats just from my imperial mission terminals

*edit* 300ish a mission and im a pistoleer without stopping shot or KD and did i mention im not a CH either have fun

I have to agree, faction points are TONS easier to get now then before. The exp is horrible while doing it but you can do the missions get 5 low blues that you can kill in 1-2 hits each for 10-18 faction each,, then 15 or so for the building and can do two missions like that in 15 min. Do the math, if you cant handle it get a calculater its alot better then having to chew thru 7k hp on a stormtrooper for the 20 or so that he gives, Maybe 28 , i forget by now but this is still much better.

I have to agree on the lower faction missions...my method of bleed, bleed shoot feign was effective, but took forever to kill generals and the like. Now its just pop, pop, next! I love it.
