when I was a rifleman I went after headshot3 right away and it was a pretty powerful attack and well worth the xp. With pistoleer I am wondering if perhaps its that important? I notice that bodyshot2 isnt all that fantastic but since I really dont know I thought I'd ask.

I levelled up to bodyshot3 first, thinking it would be better than bodyshot2 (crazy thought I know). Fact is, currently, bodyshot2 does more DPS and uses less HAM costs on aggregate that bodyshot3. There isn't a massive amount in it, but it has been proven elsewhere on the board that bodyshot2 is the stronger of the two.
Personally, if I were you, I'd level up towards Fan Shot, etc.

Definitely go up the stances and grips line instead. Bodyshot 3 is ridiculously slow, and offers a small increase in damage over Bodyshot 2. Stopping shot and Fan shot are much better, especially for PvP.

Well, after the big patch made our accuracy more like it's supposed to have been (AKA, we got nerfed, but we were always supposed to have accuracy issues at longer ranges - we did in beta at one point, and it's one of the basics of the class description - fast attacks, take less melee damage than other ranged attacks, and do best at close distances), I'd recommend taking the line that gives accuracy bonuses (the second one - umm, pistol techniques maybe? I forget the name).
BS2 is your best attack for a long time for targetting a pool. Stopping Shot and Fan Shot do great damage, but it's not pool targetted. BS3 will hopefully one day be better, but currently it's not worth it.
