I haven't seen good results on any of the advanced pistols on Wanderhome yet. A few semi-decent DX2s (still noticably less damage and twice the delay of a Scout/FWG5), but mostly junk. I blame it on a lack of good quality materials.

There are lots and lots of people opening up weapon stores and selling good guns for under 10k now. You don't have to pay huge premiums to the people who hit master first anymore.

Tangle pistol uses very rare resources. This explains the crappy stats (it's not like "Copper" where they can pick from 10 and use the one with the best combined conductivity and overall quality). Not sure why the price would be so high though. Maybe because that resource isn't currently available in the galaxy (common with tangle pistols), so only those with a stockpile of the metal can make them currently - kind of a monopoly situation.

I paid 10k for mine on Sunrunner. Mine does slightly more damage (around 50-90) with a speed of 2.9 (got it sliced down to 2.4).

The stun damage is great for PVP, and they just look cool too...

I usually pull mine out in Med Centers when I'm on duty and tell people it's my Med Gun.

they go for about 25-30k here on wanderhome and the stats are like 40-80 damage @ 3.1 speed. Why exactly is this? Do they have some sort of damage type that makes them amazing?

It's the only pistol that does stun damage. I find it mainly useful in PVP beacuse no armor protects against stun, not even Composite. Very rarely in my adventures have I seen creatures that are *only* vulnerable to stun, such as the horned jungle lizard and a few yavin creatures, so it doesnt seem worth that much out in the wilderness.

The good side is that you will use it so rarely that it wont decay hardly at all and if/ when you need a stun damage at least you have it
