Thread: Pistoleer/DF worth it?

I was wondering if the compo above is any good (mainly at PvE, not much of a PvP person). I tried going TKA, but the whole up close thing really didn't give me a star warsy feel. I like the idea of pistoleer, but I hear mixed things about them (like their specials are broken). Any answer will do, and details will be appreciated.

for PvE, all you need is Fan shot. don't waste your skill points unless you are going to PvP. You would be better off with a BH/Pistol combo...and then you can harvest as well.

Yes it helps in PvE. Lowblow followed by lastditch (while they are down)is a great combo. Feign death is also quite handy.
On a side note, some of the other smuggler skills are very useful, like being able to slice containers. I really doubt that if a smuggler found a crystal in a container of mine that they would give it to me. And if you get slicing 1 you can slice terminals... I had a ball doing 30k missions sliced up to 44k over the weekend.

just got master smuggler (along with my forever master pistoleer)
i can tell you this.
last ditch is nice. but not worth the extra points. panic shop is as useless as warcry, and low blow...has low chance of realy KDing....
feign death is great for pve, specialy in the geo caves and so on. but useless in pvp.
the best combo for pvp - BY FAR is ===> Master Pistoleer/ BH pistol 4!!!
with 4 bleeds (bleedshot, torso shot, healthshot1, healthshot2) and eye shot (blind) and stopping shot....
and not to mantion 150+ pistol accuracy and 130+ pistol speed...all i can say is woohoo!!!

Why do people still bother with Master Pistoleer/Expert BH when Health Shot2 does more damage than Torso Shot, unless youREALLY want the fire. Other wise, just go Master Pistoleer, BH 0-0-3-0, Novice Medic.
