I had dodge animation, however I didnt pay too much attention to the combat log to see if I actually was dodging.

They probably just have uber accuracy
I didn't think accuracy had anything to do with whether or not you dodged. I thought that the accuracy test was performed after the game decided if you dodged. In otherwords logic like this:
- character1 attacks
- if character2 doesn't evade
- compute chance for character1 to hit based on accuracy, and defense mods
- roll dice to see if character1 hits
- else
- perform dodge animation and log the dodgein thecombat log
This may not be exactly the way things work, but it demonstrates why I think evading has nothing to do with your to-hit roll or accuracy.

As fas as I'm aware of acurracy plays a role in both initial to-hit chance and the chance to dodge/counterattack/block. I think it's actually the same formula.

1. char1 attacks
2. if char2 suceeds defense roll -> char1 misses
2.b if char2 fails defense roll -> roll on dodge/CA/block
3. if char2 suceeds 2nd roll -> char2 dodges/counterattacks/blocks char1's attack
3.b if char2 fails 2nd roll -> char2 hits char1 for xx damage

I did the Corvette twice tonight and both times (a total of about 1 hour and 30 minutes) I never dodged once while there. I am Master Pistoleer with about +5 Dodge from armor. Is something globally wrong with dodge, or is dodge just broken on the corvette?
Also, I did notice NPCs dodging now and then.

according to randon's test, you dodge more against inaccurate NPCs. i dont know why, it makes little sense. oh well.
