if this is for PvE solo, I suggest pistoleer +tka.

Hm, why TKA? I'm re-mastering pistoleer and was going to add a bit o' fencer to add defenses and cap out dodge.

TKA is great for PvE, simple as that. Pretty hard to get taken down, can power boost, force of will, huge accuracy, defenses stack with pistoleer, and you can add the DF sumggler line for better specials and fiegn death (great in PvE). I say get MAster pistol/master tka, smugg 0-0-4-0 and fencer 4-3-0-0. TKA=Tank

with pistol, tka, rogue.. you could solo just about anything.

The right mix of TKA/Pistoleer can get you both ranged and melee mitigation 2, which rocks. Also around 74/60's for melee/ranged defense, which of course you can mod a fair amount through BE clothing and loot drops. It's the route I'm going, plus some CM for poison/ae healing fun.

but if you go master pistoleer / master tka, won't you just be a tka master and never use your pistol? I like using my pistol. Please explain how to use the two in conjunction.

Would this template work (If i go with the one you suggested, I won't be able to heal myself will I? Don't I have to be a medic to do that?)

TKA 4/4/4/4

Pistoleer 4/4/4/4

Smuggler 0/0/4/0

Medic 0/0/1/0

Fencer 2/0/0/0

Depends on the mob man. Fan shot works for almost all....but use the TKA against some of the larger ones. Keep an eye on the resists...theoretically you can do almost any kind of damage out there.

If you really wanna shoot all the time do the BH/Pistol combo or a pistol/commando combo.

I'm not master TKA anymore, I'm combining TKA (4304 if I recall for meditate &defenses) and pistoleer (0041) and combat medic (2004). Sort of a jack of all trades template that gives me a lot of stuff to RP with as well as having good defenses.
