WhenI was a pistoleer I used this special alot and found it very effective. You might be thinking "God he is a noob or a retard if he thinks that special is good". Well, the reason I think this special is good is because I used iit correctly. I found that the special is a limited range area shot with decent damage. With fast weapon (1.8 or less, not sure of the exact nunbers on the delay of the special)youcan fire this special at one shot per second and like I said it is an area effect. It hits all targets including lairs within a 35m range regardless of location. It is not limited to a cone like fanshot and will not agro outside of the 35m range. The first shot only hits the intended target. One the second shot, hell is unleashed andyou will be firing at everything in range regardless of its location in the 35m around you. I think I even saw my toon fire over his shoulder and between his legs to hit a couple of NPCs. Use this information as you please to test it out. I think that you will be pleasantly surprised. If I am totally wrong please correct me, but I think that this info is correct.

You aren't wrong.

The matter of how buggy it is is a matter of some debate, so I am taking a worst-case scenario (based on my experiences, the experiences of our former correspondents, and the experiences from most of the feedback I have recieved) approach to be safe until I can pin it down. I may end up agreeing with JCatano.

One thing I can clarify, however, is how much damage it deals. It doesn't deal much when compared to Fan Shot, dps wise. You don't actually hit the speed cap with it until you have a 1.0 speed pistol, which is a tremendous difference from 1.8.

EDIT: formatting 1 spelling error

okay so a 1 second pistol to fire at cap means multitargetpistol shot has a x4 delay , what is the damage multiplier?

Well, no. Speed is screwy. It actually has a 3.5 delay and a 4.2 mutliplier. DPS comparisons to Fan Shot, Fan Shot blows it out of the water. It deals 39% more DPS, which is huge. Now it assumed that MTPS would deal a little less damage because of the convenience of not having to line up a cone (something I find ridiculously easy, even in PvP), but this is a massive difference. Factor in the limited range, and I'm not sure it's justified.

You're right, mostly....in my expierence it hits up to 6 targets in a 30 meter radius of you....I tested the range and found if I'm more than 30 meters from the lair it doesn't get targeted.

Darn, I just dropped pistoleer for carbineer before I could use it. I ignored it completely because friends and forums always said it did nothing.

If it does work like you said, only change i'd like to see is a bigger DPS, since it is a master attack.
