Okay I have a weaponsmith and was wondering if you could have a differnce of +6 speed or -.2 speed what would you think is best.

I think that speed would be best most of the time since us pistoleers are not usually speed capped unless we have BH pistols. I was thinking of doing the +6 on scatter pistols. But I would use the -0.2 on dx2's for example. Maybe I should run a line of both and see what sells best.

People usually just look at max damage but just wondering whatpistoleersthink.

Ah... the Noble Scatter from BH... it sucks!

Ive bought two scatters from FellKell and had them sliced. They are great for damage and enough for speed. Problem is accuracy.

A Scatter Pistol accuracy is plain stupid. Ive asked around and it appears most scatter pistols are the same.

Therefore I stick with the DX2. Less damage but at least I hit 9 out of 10 which means I get a lot more Damage per Second.

Im not clear on how fast I am at the moment, I think I have 71 speed, but with my DX2 at 1.9 speed I can spawn all of my specials once per second. Mind you Im not that high in the pistoleer trees yet. I chose to increase my BH pistol speed first since its much easier to get and gives out a devastating speed bonus (+10 then +10 then +20 and I think +10 again).

As a Pistoleer I personally feel the only way I can really contribute is by using specials, without them we are just the lowest DPS around. Therefore Speed is critical for that 1 per second spawn rate. However regardless of whatever you are using, if you cant hit you are useless.

If you ever manage a decent Scatter with good Accuracy let me know, ill buy it from you.

ah... I see. Is that why there are so many BH with Scatter pistols? or simple because DX2 is reserved for Pistoleers?

Tell me about your scatters accuracy? is it bad or the ones ive been looking it are bad?

And also Im suspecting that tangle pistols suffer from the accuracy problem as well.

I think PVE wouldnt be so bad with a poor accuracy but I cant imagine PVP with a lame accuracy pistol.

Can you also please post your DX2 stats?

I was a dummy when I said it could be used on scatters.. anyways...

To sort of tell you why scatters are great, they only take 1 power handler so you only need 1 krayt tissue when making scatters.In other words with the amount of krayt tissue it would take to make 1 dx2 you could make 5 scatters and it is much easier to get a nice slice out of 5 scatters instead of 1 dx2.

Not that I dont have a nice dx2 for my pistoleer
