Thread: Yay! My first DE-10!

I had collected a DE-10 schematic and a yellow barrel a long time ago. I've been waiting for 3x Krayt tissues to make a great weapon. I stopped by my guild vendor the other day and saw she had a Krayt DE-10 in stock for a really high price. I looked at the stats and started drooling. I worked out a deal with her. I gave her my schematic and the barrel for a big discount on the weapon.
I'm the proud owner of a 211-604 @ 3.7 Krayt DE-10. Those stats are damage sliced with PuP. Not the biggest I've ever seen, but certainly one of the rarer. Anything over 600 damage is pretty good in my book.

Lol i bitched and moaned for ages driving guildies mad about wanting one and finnaly got mine....then a month lateri bought 3 for less than the 1st cost me, congrats man, try not to break it too quick

I got mine a week or two ago. I think it is really overated but still a great gun to have just for bragging rights lol.

omg im so frikin jealous.....i been trying to get a de10 for awile now, i have enough krayt tissue to make 2 de10's but i havent been able to loot any schems or barrels off the blacksun, and havent found any1 selling them either

Actually, I had a Krayt DX2 built recently that outdamages my speed 3.9, 622 maxDE-10. Reason: It's speed 2.0, and I'm not speed capped. The DE-10 is really all that, if you are near the speed cap (100 speed). But without that, even at master pistoleer, it's pretty slow. It starts to pull ahead at around 90 speed, I think.
In addition, it's energy damage. Lots of things stop energy, most notably shields. The DX2 isn't stopped by shields (most shield gens are vuln to acid), and is useful up close as well.
I use alot of pistols in PvE and PvP, but the big three are the DE-10, the Geo and the DX2. All have their uses.

Yeahthe DX2 is probably my favorite and most used pistol in PVE, I love it 
Shame its takes so many more Krayt tissues to make an enhanced DX2 than it does a Scatter.... IMO Scatters suck
Was happily using my DE-10 in PVE and loving that to (almost 500 damage with Pup) - until I saw how fast it was decaying! EEEEK! Its down to 600\1050 now and I am building up the courage to repair it as soon as it hits 400 or so.
My 600 max damage DE-10 is hanging on my wall - never used, I just can't bring myself to use it after seeing how fast my other decayed. Leaving it there tilleither I get abetter one, or decide I really need some cash! It is kinda cool having a pistol worth at least 4milas decoration

Sweet, I got a speed slice on mine, so its only 350ish max. but I still LOVE it
