Thread: No Duel Wield for CU

I don't think many people here believed we were getting a Dual-Wielding ability from the CURB (at least I didn't.) The CURB isn't a Pistoleer revamp, and it's during a Pistoleer revamp when Dual-Wielding (if at all) will be introduced. We all knew that.

If any of you read the Dev Chat... you would have known by now... we are not getting duel wield for the CU.

Im curious if you still gonna have to pick up both smuggler & bh to be a good pistoleer.. or a "better" pistoleer.

The CURB won't fix all the problems with the various professions. It's a reworking of the combat system, not a profession revamp. Certain things will be balanced out (buffs, armor, AP, HAM, DPS, speed formula, etc.), but Pistoleers still won't reach their fullest potential until the promised Pistoleer revamp. That will fix our broken specials, and round us out as the solid, self-satisfying profession that it isn't, and probably won't completely be after the CURB.

Actaully, from reading the info on the armor the CURB is not a balance at all but a complete re-write. I'm willing to bet that when the CURB hits you won't have to worry at all about broken specials and such because they will HAVE to change them in the CURB to make everything fit together. If the DEV's do it right, Duel Wielding will the only thing pistoleers ask for after CURB.

Im sure I have mentioned several times in the thread where we discuss dual wield that we will not get it in the CURB...its for after the CURB...

Does anyone know just when all the duel wield pistols are comin out?
