Is there a way to grind pistoleer realy fast?
I saw the 'guide' on the top of forums, but ive got plenty of money, so dont need to worry about missions4money, but what tier would be the fastest and easiest way up pistols?
-Im mainly askin cause im not sure how long im gonna keep pistols, but i wanna get master and have it long enough to get a fell, drop and do another proff and see if i would like to go back to this, plus a badge

Huurton Stalkers, Dantooine. You should be able to get them solo or with one other person in a group. They're vulnerable to Acid, and they give about 4k exp each.

As for which tree, I say Pistol Techniques first. Normally you want to grind out speed first, but speed in Pistoleer is earned by Combat exp, not Pistol exp. So I say Pistol Techs first, and most will prolly agree. Get your best specials from that tree, have your pet attack the Huurton Stalker lair, and use Fanshot (Pistol Techs IV) against the whole mess of them when they agro your pet.

Yeah, fastest way to grind combat exp is to just stick with the prof you currently have mastered.

Here's a tip though:Don't surrender your Fencer combat tree until AFTER you've trained up in the Pistoleer combat tree. If you surrender your Fencer combat tree skills, the max amount of Combat exp you can store will be reduced, and you'll lose it all.

Klikniks on Yavin seem fastest to me. 3k-5k per critter (depending on the type), plus a sweet 12k mission payout. You'll want an acid weapon (like a damage-sliced DX2, or a Scatter which needs BH certification).

I did an entire line from 0-4 (I forget which) in two buff sessions. I did the BH pistols line first, so I had good speed bonuses prior. Your mileage may vary.

Yavin also sports a temple full of klikniks, name is currently slipping but it's on the POI tab and I think the closest other POI is the woolamander place. Not sure how much exp they are in total, but the layout makes them ideal fanshot victims. And there's some containers that can drop SEA's at the bottom of it.

I agree with both posters about the two types ofmobs to grind. However I would lean more toward Dantooine for a couple reasons.

1. Dantooine (at least on my server) is a heavy traffic area which equals more docs and entertainers to rebuff you when you need it saving travel time (won't have to leave Yavin), also there are shorter lines for both.

2. Player Cities allow for a) higher mission payouts b) shops where you can get what you need if you run out, i.e weapons, food , etc.
