Thread: Just mastered Pistoleer...

Never posted in the profession forums before, spent plenty of time reading them though! I'm Imperial and play on wanderhome, my charactor is strictly ranged and I rarely ever buff... I also PvP in Encumbrance sliced Storm Trooper armor (Helmet/Chest/Legs Reinforced with PSG inplace of belt) and use an AT-ST in PvP... Alot of people tell me Im crazy but what do they know?

I really like my faction and love supporting it by playing my charactor as areal hardcore type imperial officer, most of the time in ST armor with a ST faction pet called (TK-100) or in a Imp theme park loot TIE pilot survival suit with high stun resist Comp. Helmet/Chest/Gloves/Boots, Padded armor belt and one of those nifty Specops backpacks with the skill mods and ofcorse a Storm Commando faction pet called and as you all know you have to be overt to equip the armorand the pets ...which I dont really mindas I like beingovert! I can equip my TIE/AT-ST suit/helmet, Officers uniform or storm trooper armor whenever I want 
Plus you just gotta love being able to pull an AT-ST on someone
Now... i wouldnt mind getting my hands on a DE-10... Right now my main pistol isa decent Krayt Geoand my weapons bag in my inventory holds a Republic Blaster (bleeding)for Energy, Featherweight for Heat, Krayt Scatter pistol for Acid, Striker Pistol for kinetic and last but not least a decent Mind Fire DL44. I also carry an Enhanced E11 Carbine (bleeding) to use with the BH Carbine KD Specials, PistolMeleedefence is nice and all but I dont want to have to be standing right next to a person to knock them on there arse!
Out of all of the pistoleer specials I find my self only using Pistol melee def.1&2, Doubletap andStopping shot.. other than that its Healthshot 1&2 and Bleeding shot from marksman and Eye& Torso shot from Bountyhunter pistols...
Oh yeah I mastered Pistoleer two nights ago yay for me!

PMD2 is broken, so I wouldn't bother using that anymore. Bleeding Shot is from Bounty Hunter pistols, not Marksman.
Welcome to the pistoleers club though.

Ooops my bad I thought Bleeding was a marksman move! /doh
I didnt know PMD2 was broken...I know it doesnt actually knock them down but its still doing damage when I use it... If you use PMD1 twice knocking them down with the first one the second will bump them right back up again. PMD2 hits them on the ground without making them standup...
IMHO it works fine

Yep, PMD2 is definitely broken. I doubt you'll find any serious pistoleers here who actually use it. It may still do damage, yes, but you can deal far more damage to a knocked-down (or any other) mob using Stopping Shot (to pick another random-pool special).
And yeah, you don't want to use PMD1 more than once in a row. Just use it once, then switch to a more powerful special to finish off the mob.

Yeah PMD1 + Torso & Stopping shot or Eye shot works wonders!
I only use PMD2 when someone pisses me off and I want to pistol whip them to death

If you are wanting to concentrate on one pool to hit in PvP which a pistoleer can do and its a good thing keep this in mind.
You can stack 5 bleeds and a health fire DOT on the same person using these shots (In no order)
Health Shot - Bleed<--------------- Geo Blaster (Strongest Gun for Best Tick)
Health Shot 2 - Bleed<-------------- Geo Blaster (Strongest Gun for Best Tick)
Bleeding Shot (BH) - Bleed <--------- Geo Blaster (Strongest Gun for Best Tick)
Modified Republic Blaster - 105 Bleed
E11 Carbine - 150 Bleed
Torso Shot - Health Fire DOT <------ Geo Blaster (Strongest Gun for Best Tick)
