I am trying to come up with a good way to solo some Night Sisters. RIght now I can do sentinels, but I want to move up to the other ones.

I have Mcm and Mpistols currently and BH 0010 for the ranged KD.

I usually go warning shot, then do stopping, apply chem fire, quick, body, apply poison, ranged KD, body, intimidate, body, quick

I heal myself as needed and seems to work pretty good.

How do you guys take em on?

If you want to kite them, stick Improved Electrolyte Drain from x/x/x/3 CM on them after a sucessful stopping shot and then kite at your leisure as they stumble about.

If you do it when they are rooted, they wont hit you for running within 10m to put the drain on. It lasts over a minute so you get plenty of time to get stopping shot back on them for when the timer has a few seconds to go.

Gives you plenty of time to get a nice stack of fire and poison going as well.

You think I can solo protectors and spellweavers like this?

If it doesn't have much in the way of a ranged attack and you have enough space to run around in (dont lead them too far off from their spawn location as they will +Retreat+) then you can solo anything with drain.

I've solo'ed all the types of NS I've run into, lvl 94 Kraytsand also the lvl 109 FS guys on Dant using that tactic. I am MCM/MP and I start with a shot to get them away from what ever group they are with. If more then one comes I typically bail. Once I get one my target seperated from it's group, I hit it with a stopping shot. I move within 10m and hit them with the electrolyte drain. I back up to the 30-35m area and hit them with a poison and a burn. Then it's kyte and shoot until the electrolyte drain wears off. When it does I repeat the stopping shot, electrolyte drain, etc...

This tactic works on all melee mobs that you can separate..... now one misstep or some lag and you are toast but if all goes well, you can kill all melee mobs as a MCM/MP.

Heh, nice to know I'm not the only one that likes that combo.

Just to recap, you only need x/x/x/3 CM for Improved Electrolyte Drain. It always sticks.

I wouldn't besurpised if the Devs swing the Nerf bat on this one at some point as it really makes a farce of PvE against high level melee mobs.

Oh, and to single pull mobs from groups you can use a pet or combat droid to attack a mob from 64m then tell it to follow you and the mob will come trotting over to you without bringing its friends.

Using this tactic and with me sticking Electrolyte drain on the Krayts , a few guildies and I cleaned out the static grand/adolescent/ancient spawn in the Krayt Graveyard.

Get yourself a combat droid. You can pull one NS from a group by giving the droid the attack command from 100m away, and then start blasting when the sister gets in range. I've found that I can easily outdamage any of the Nightsisters that I've encountered post-CU (haven't tried any spellweavers or elders yet though), without even needing to use any state attacks (they don't seem to stick much on them anyway). It does help that I have medic skills to help me though if my health gets low.

I have killed many nightsisters elders, protectors, spellweavers, stalkers ect... sadly they dont seem to be dropping much loot anymore. As long as I keep them, rooted, snared, or KDed, kiting is fairly easily, and if they catch up my Stim Ds and Ruby are enough to beat them.

Then other than the grevious guy, who is dropping all the loot?

Especially the +jedi skills loot that everyone is paying $$ for?

sith thugs, level 80+ stormies or rebels, and DJK/DJMs if you can find them and get a group to take them down.
