Thread: CAPS?? Diminishing returns?
Anyone done testing on this?
Especially considering Accuracy = more damage if its above the def of the target.
First we have to define cap.
stats coming from skills don't have caps. One can have 10000 range defense + 25 from attachments (not sure if there still is a cap on defensives skills coming from attachments, read under ) if those 10000 are the end resul of stacking range defense mods from skill trees.
ranged and melee defense andaccuracydo not have know caps.
Ranged and melee defense offer damage mitigation against ranged and melee attacks in a progressive way , what means they don't suffer diminishing returns. Pistol defense offers mitigation against ranged and melee when you have a pistol equiped.
Overall ranged speed (like pistol speed+ ranged speed) do not have a solid cap, altough suffer from diminishing returns. In theory once you pass 140 overall speed, altough mathematically your dps still increase, the real effect start to be hard to notice. Pistol speed mods coming fropm external sources do suffer a 25 limit ( if one gets 50 pistol speed coming from attachments, only 25 is consider).
Still one can get 25 general ranged speed and 25 pistol speed from attachments and they stack one with the other, increasing effective overall ranged speed by 50.
