93? or do you mean 03? hopefully you mean 2003 otherwise i will asume you have been living in a nuclear war shelter![]()
i prefere carbines myself, i am not a BHr i am a MCM/MC but once tried BH...
i think pistols get to close to the jedi, 50m compared to 35m can really be the difference between life and death.
but if you want to go pistols that can work too...personally i just like very mean guns!

It's all personal preference...... you should still have time to try hunting jedi with both pistoleer and carbiner... carbines are nice to stay out of range with, but usually have a higher SAC than pistols.... pistols gives you the ability to apply a lot of states and root, but you must stay within the jedi's range (however you have additional defense).... also depends on if your going to be a solo bounty hunter or a group one
both are great for control,
pistols like the post above has a nice selection of state effects, while carbineer has a nice knockdown, a nice snare, and overall good damage specials. combine either with the specials in the BH trees and you have yourself a powerful template
some are even going rifles/BH but me personally think that lacks in the control dept.
Ok thanks for all these tips I got my proton carbine today and am still having problems (almost lost to a padawan (or so he says thats what he is).
I dueled a guardian and a knight and couldnt get them less than 3/4th health I got no idea what im doing wrong.
It doesnt seem like you can keep them at range because they have snares and KD's aswell as force run.

dont really even try to solo any finished templates. they are quite strong from what i have seen, although most of our jedi are MDefender. i prefer pistols because of low SAC and good tanking abilities. if you cant beat the jedi really quick with huge damage, you can out last them until they run low of force. then when tehy try to run, use a root and they wont have much force left, you win
