pick up investigation IV for duelist stance if you want more defense, pick up carbs IV for improved critical shot if you want more offense

the rifles line is just more crowd control... useful, but you've really already got a ton

I use Torso Shot every time I am fighting anything that takes more than a few shots to kill. The bleed is tiny, but over a long span of time (minutes) it can add up enough to save you an attack round. Think of all the times a mob has only a sliver of health left, you're being attacked by other mobs, and you have to waste a shot (losing both an attack round and some action) to finish off that nearly-dead mob before you can move on to the next one... and it the meantime the mob hits you again for more damage. If you had hit it early with Torso Shot, it might have been dead by then.

Of course, you could arguably do just as much damage by using a higher-damage special in place of the bleeds, for the round that you would have fired the torso shot, but torso shot is already fairly powerful as it is. I have yet to actually work out the math to see how useful the bleed is over time.

the bleed ticks for around 20-50 each hit and lasts for two whole minutes

and i use it a lot as well against tough mobs

Actually torso does more damage for me than any pistoleer move apart from maybe improved bodyshot...

Yeah the bleed may be weak, but the base damage of that special is decent. I often alternate it with Critical Shot for two powerful attacks on separate timers. I'd still use it even if it had no bleed.

It makes me smile by it's complete lack of stickability! I must have used that move 20 or so times and I remember it sticking maybe twice...

By "stickability," I'm assuming how often you fire it and see +Critical Shot+ floating above the target's head. As far as I can tell, it doesn't actually give any sort of bonus when you get that indicator (bugged). As far as shooting that special and have it hit something, I'd say it's pretty close to 100% for me, and it does fantastic damage every time it hits (if the target isn't too heavily armored or defended). It's a great special even if it's not currently working as intended.

i also use torso shot with my MCH/MP. i had to choose between the carbine and the rifle tree of bh (picking up the pistol tree for knockdown and confusion was my first choice). besides the high damage shots (critical with carbs and torso with rifles), i rather picked up eye-shot from rifles (for damage reduction) then spray shot from carbs (i already have fan shot as cone damage). its a big advantage if u can make blind, intimidate and/or stun stick.

torso shot's bleeding dot goes nice with my pet attacks, as i sometimes just support my pet. i let it tank while using my low damage crowd control shots to reduce the damage output of the target, making it possible for my pets to kill even higher level mobs. as the fight usualy lasts longer, a bleeding dot is a nice addon as it adds up some damage over time.

near the end of the fight, when either my pet has done enough damage to keep the agro or i rooted or knocked down the target, i alternate between bodyshot and torso shot for high damage output.

i hardly ever get eyeshot to stick, and rarely use it solo

but in support, as in with your pets, i still use it quite often, so that may work well for you
also sprayshot and fanshot can be spammed in succession if you line them up... i do this when i'm agroing a big group of mobs that i can easily take, i'll just alternate fanshot/sprayshot
