If you only had 9 points to spend on pistols boxes, which two would you get?

That's what I was thinking, although a disarming shot would be nice as well... don't know if I can get it with only 9 points though.

I absolutely agree with Badger. Those are probably the two most important boxes in Pistoleer, if you had to pick two.

Disarm shot has its uses though. I found a nice bug/exploit/tactic (depends how you look at it) for PvP, lob CM DoTs on a player then do nothing butspamDisarm Shot.

Super lame but quite funny.

Yeah, I've got a similar tactic that I use with my Rifleman toon--I just knock down the mob using Underhand Shot (or whatever knockdown your template happens to have, if any), then spam nothing but Startle Shot (RM's analog to Disarm Shot). Most of the time, the mob never gets up from its knocked down state. Works great against creatures, but not so well against armed mobs.

I soloed a CL 82 Singing Mountain Clan something or another (got a grand total of 384 credits from it. bah, got a crystal from the CL 79 rancor tamer) without getting touched once.

bugged concussion shot is our friend. (yes, it's been /bugged in game)

any damage should break disarm shot. the DoTs break paralyze, right?

well, if it breaks, then the target just needs to time his actions so he initiates an attack right as the DoT ticks. If you fire the disarm before the tick, the tick will break it, so you're waiting on the ticks too. The target should be able to get a shot off before you restick the disarm.

wonder if a default attack will automatically start firing after the disarm is broken?
